Wisconsin, Illinois, Michigan. These are the states in which we’ve spent much of the new year so far. We’ve been treated to below zero temps, double digit below zero wind chills, sleet, freezing rain, snow and icy roads. I’ve decided I prefer all three states during the summer and am ready for a load heading south. Unfortunately, the load planners feel the need to keep us in this area for now, so I will try to focus on things like how pretty the snow looks when it’s falling lightly, how amazing frozen rivers look, the pleasant sensation of drinking hot tea when it’s truly cold outside and the way the trees look like they have vanilla icing on their branches after the snow falls.
Ah, perspective and attitude win again.
Until next time, readers, drive safely šŸ™‚
